Adsense and funeral niche

Dear Ezoic users,

I'm currently helping a friend to grow her website so that she can join Ezoic soon. However, she has a website in the funeral niche. She has worked as a funeral attendant for 20 years and is sharing her knowledge on her website. Subjects such as 'May you touch a loved one' or 'What should a loved one be dressed like for a funeral'.

My question: Is there anything you guys can tell me regarding joining the Adsense program for this niche? Even though it's a big topic and she treats it with respect, I do know that Google can be conservative about these kinds of topics. Do you guys know if a website like this would be eligible for the Adsense program?

I would love to hear your opinion about this!

Athlox Hello Heather here I hope you are well. As you say the eligibility criteria for Google Adsense is quite strict and specific. Therefore, it is difficult to determine whether or not a website about funerals would be eligible for the program without more information. To find out if your website would be eligible, you can review the Adsense Program Policies to check that the website and content comply with all of the guidelines. https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/23921?hl=en-GB

You could also try reaching out to other website owners that you know that are in this niche and ask them for any advice and support based on their experiences.

'What should a loved one be dressed like for a funeral'. About 371,000,000 results for this search .
"Planning a burial" About 80,600,000 results for this search
"Should I Buy a Cemetery Plot in Advance" About 9,280,000 results for this search

Looking at some of the sites. Some have ads ...
https://funeralcompanion.com/ has ads
https://funeralcircle.com/ has ads
and several other.

Did you connect the site to Google Search console? That would be my first step, to start to see how many people are searching on your keywords. You can also take a look at your keywords in Google Trends, but it's less helpful the Google Search console.

I'm no expert, but funeral services are a respectable business. No reason adsence should not take them. Build you web traffic and I bet you get in.

Be sure to cover these topics (where relevant) because they likely have the most traffic.

TrailsNH How stupid of me to not Google it 😉 I didn't think of Googling it in English. We are talking about a Dutch website here, and the current websites in Google are from companies so they have no ads. Thanks for the heads up!
