Hi! Im' looking for advice or a recommendation.
I joined Ezoic at the end of December (ads started running on 30 Dec). Over the course of the first week, I sorted my ad settings and chose User experience focused goals. Then around January 10, my ePMVs started hitting 6-8$ on a regular basis and it continued for about 2 weeks.
During the first half of February, my ePMV dropped to 4-5 $, and during the second half it dropped to 3-4$, but over the past 2 weeks (the first half of March) it has dropped to 2-3$.
Here's more. I had Humix enabled for the whole of February. I have disabled it as it hasn't brought any positive results. Over a week ago I switched to Balanced ad optimization goals, but so far no results as my revenue keeps dropping and ePMVs stay low.
A couple of days ago I tried the new feature - Maximize your site's revenue button. I enabled it but had to disable a couple of settings like enhanced placeholders because they create ads that completely cover my whole home page post grid and it becomes impossible to click on my posts. I had this disabled the whole time anyways (because I had the same problem with it in January).
So here is my confusion. It is said that you should give Ezoic algorithm time to learn and the best results would come about 60 days after joining Ezoic. It would be now. I was quite hopeful with those numbers in January, but so far it is only getting worse by the day.
Here is the second confusing thing. After hitting about 17+ thousand website visits in January (last 30 days) my site has grown to 21+ thousand visits now. I didn't change any ad settings for more than a month, but only saw a decline in ePMV.
Is this something to be expected or is it not normal? I know that ad rates are not high, but they aren't really lower than they were in January. I would be grateful if any of you could take a look.
I haven't changed the theme, I haven't had max ads per page on, I use Ezoic caching this whole time. my top visitor counties to my site are: USA (20%), Spain (14%), Germany (10.4%), UK (8.3%), Netherlands (5%), Mexico (3.7%), France (3.6%), Portugal (3.2%), Poland (3.1%), Canada (2.6%).
