Hello,
I would like to know how to make the ads not to be shown in the footer, I really want them to be shown only in the blog entries, not in the footer or in pages.
How can I make this configuration?
thank you and nice day.
Can you share a screenshot of an example for the ad that appears at the footer? It may be the anchor ads you are referring to, but I just wanted to make sure.
APerez Hello
I don't mean anchor ad, I mean ads (not scroll) that appear inside the footer sections.
ColS Could you please attach a screenshot and the URL where you see this issue appear
MichaelH you can enter to any url where ads are shown, but this way, I show a capture of the mobile view, those ads are shown in the "footer" of the page, not in the content.
ColS Thank you for sending this screengrab over, I'll get those ad placeholders removed for you next please note that it can take up to 24 hours for this to reflect on your website
Heather thanks, I just have to remove them from the footer, and, another thing, is there a way that only the ads are displayed in the blog articles? i.e. not on the pages as such.
ColS No problem I'm happy to help. For the pages that you are looking for ads to not show on this article explains how you can add the pages to the disabled ads by page app https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/how-can-i-disable-ads-on-a-page many thanks
Heather
So what I understand is that by default in all pages (articles or not) ads are displayed unless I configure some of them not to do so, right?
And I understand that there is no way to tell ezoic "hey, only show ads on pages that are of type: blog post" no?
ColS My recommendation would be to exclude directories that you do not wish to show ads on. This can be done in your dashboard> Ezoic Ads> Ad Restrictions> Disable Ads By Page> New Rule> Select "Directory" as your rule type. From there you can exclude areas of your site that you do not want to show
