Heather Thank you for responding.
Yes, I am still seeing issues with the videos displaying randomly.
When I read your reply I immediately checked the four pages that contain videos. I checked only in Chrome.
On the first try, the first video I posted displayed. The second, third, and fourth videos did not display.
After clearing the browser cache and reloading the pages, the result was different.
The first video I posted displayed. The second and third videos displayed. The fourth video still did not display.
It seems that the videos are being treated first as ads, and second as videos. I'd like it to be the other around. Videos first, ads second.
I was told weeks ago in another thread that viewers should see the video regardless of ads that might have been shown to any particular reader.
All videos should display on every page load without reloading the pages. It should not matter if I've seen the video. The number of views should not matter (which seems to be an issue with dpi and apparently with video caching).
I'd like to find out if that is even possible in Humix. This issue has been present in one form or another since I began posting videos on the site. If Humix, for one reason or another, just can't display the videos with every page load, I'd like to know so that I can remove them and embed them from YouTube.
I know Ezoic advises against embedding from YouTube, but my first priority with these videos is to have them inside the articles when the pages are crawled for SEO purposes. I can't imagine that Google sees a placeholder and reads it as a video. Second is revenue from them, which to date amounts to just 36 cents.
