My site traffic and impressions have become negligible post-integration this week. Need help in troubleshooting the problem. Similar problem on another site since a month.
nikitaapatil Hello Heather here I hope you are well. I have taken a look at your site and can see that currently we are waiting for Google to approve this domain to show ads, until this has been completed the revenue and traffic data wont start to fully show in your account. You can keep up to date with the progress of this here: https://pubdash.ezoic.com/setup many thanks
Hi - that is fine - however, a full y integrated site too has the same issue - gymrigs.com. I have been trying to get things up but failed so far
nikitaapatil Ah I see please can you confirm the issues that you are experiencing with gymrigs.com, the data that you are concerned about and the reports that you are using and we can then go from there. thank you
these are the screenshots from GSC for both my sites which have suffered post integration.
nikitaapatil Thank you - please share your Google Search Console access with us at shared-emea@ezoic.com and we can then take a look at this for you and go from there
done - pl check
Hi - is there an update on this pls?
nikitaapatil Hello your site has been added to the queue for our team to look into, as soon as we have any updates we'll update you via this thread. many thanks
nikitaapatil I have heard back from the team and they have found that the drop off in your search console visibility started on March 31st. This was a month after joining Ezoic and 51 days after your site joined Ezoic. The 31st March coincides with the Google algorithm update coming to an end and so it looks like the reason why your impressions have dropped is because your site has dropped down in the SERP rankings. You can read more about the algorithm update here: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-rolls-out-march-2023-core-algorithm-update/482389/
The next steps for you to help your site recover is to first of all do a SEO audit in your site and then from there make changes on your site: https://www.ezoic.com/how-to-do-an-on-page-seo-audit-in-12-steps/
If you have any questions please do let us know and we can then go from there. many thanks
Thank you for all your help Heather
Hi again Heather - I realised that cname records were not added to my sites. I have manually updated them. pls can you check and let me know if that is the reason for the drop in traffic?
Would you be able to share your host's DNS records so that we can take a look at the CNAMES in the Ezoic DNS?
