Checkout is misbehaving

Hi, I believe I'm having trouble with leap optimization. I've excluded (woo commerce) shop and shop related pages from optimizing but they're still being optimized. The checkout looks different that originally and the checkout itself is misbehaving. A few items get added automatically that weren't initially selected and shows some errors when trying to remove them. I'd appreciate your help with the optimization setup. Thanks.

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like these pages might be being cached which would cause issues like this. You can exclude these pages from caching in your Ezoic dashboard by navigating to Leap > Caching then scroll down to the bottom and click Exclusion Rules. From there you would add an exclusion rule for the relevant URL strings (so for example /cart/ or /checkout/ - not the full URL but whatever comes after the domain name).

Coley Hi, Coley, and thanks for your quick response. That helped. The only thing that remained the same is that direct checkout (I use a plugin) still doesn't work (it usually shows a blank page), so I had to go back to the original settings. May this also be in relation to cache? I'm curious to know if there's something I could do about it, but at this moment this is not a major issue.

Hello, we would be happy to continue working with you on this issue, however, we are currently unable to access your site. Could you please remove any security plugins you have on your site? If you do not have any, could you please reach out to your host and request that they whitelist the IP's listed in this article?

MichaelH Hi, MichaelH, so sorry for the delay in my response, it wasn't intentional. I've whitelisted 20 addresses during the setup phase because I had an origin error, 20 is the current maximum for my hosting. And I'll deactivate the security plugin now, I believe the plugin is blocking access. Thanks.

Thank you for deactivating that, it seems that the site is indeed back up and running, if this was caused by the plugin you may have the option to whitelist the IP's within the plugins istelf to avoid any issues like this in the future.
H however I am currently unable to replicate this issue on your site. Can I confirm you are still seeing additional items being added to the cart and the error when you try to remove them?

There isn't such option unfortunately. I would've used it for the origin problem I used to experience. But it's fine now. The problem with the additional items is fixed, but the problem with the direct checkout remains - it usually goes to blank page instead of to the checkout.
