unrealistic visits & extremely high bounce rate

good morning

since 3 august i think something is wrong with the analytics at ezoic.

I have many more visits and an extremely high bounce rate.

in plausible and in cloudflare analytics this change can not be seen and everything runs in the usual range.

also the live active users were before 3 august at ezoic and also plausible always relatively similar.

so something can not be right. thanks for checking.

I'm not seeing any issue with our analytics, it seems to be tracking data on your site correctly. There has been an increase in traffic recently and it may be worth diving deeper into where this is coming from. Are you seeing an increase in organic search traffic, maybe?

If you are worried about bot traffic on your site, it may be worth reaching out to your host to see what they can do to help protect your site from this.

Traffic has only increased on Ezoic Analytics. All other 3 analytics tools (Plausible, Cloudflare, Google Analytics) do not see any particular increase from August 3rd, which I think is right.

sato I can see you don't have consent management enabled, this could be impacting the data from recognizing continuous visits, which would also explain why we're not seeing a change in pageviews. I recommend enabling consent management, and tracking your analytics for another few days to see if this resolves the discrepancy. You can do this in settings - privacy - consent management. I also recommend reaching out to your host to check if they've detected any unusual traffic on their end.

so i have now activated the consent management for some days. but still the visits are just wrong and the high bounce rate unchanged.

i can only repeat myself, none of the other monitoring or analytics tools show change from 3 august. it would be nice if they would take a serious look at this.

Looking at your Big Data Analytics again, I can see that not only your bounce rate increased on 3rd August but also there is quite a lot of unknown traffic coming to your site.

To troubleshoot this further, can you please answer the following questions for me:

Have you made any changes to your site prio to 3rd August such as installing a new feature or tool, making any major layout changes etc.?
Do you use a newsletter or RSS feeds on your site?

I don't have any new tools or a new layout and I don't have an rss feed either.
I have now invited you to my google analytics.

also in cloudflare i don't see this more traffic since august 3rd.
