Huge decrease in visits after site migration

Hi there,

My website switched web hosts on August 14th. Before switching, Ezoic was integrated through Name Servers. After switching, I've re-integrated Ezoic through a WordPress plugin. And ever since then, the Ezoic dashboard has been showing a significant decrease in visits.

According to Google Analytics, I get around 700-1k visitors per day, but Ezoic is showing 443 on Tuesday, 8/15 and it has been persistently decreasing to showing only 8 visitors yesterday 8/20.

As a result, my revenue has also decreased a little. Surprisingly, it hasn't decreased at the same rate as the number of visits because my ePMV increased at a similar exponential rate, going up from my usual ~$3 to $125 yesterday.

Is all of this normal after site migration and/or re-integration of Ezoic? Will the numbers go back to normal after a certain time period? If not, what do I have to do to fix it?

I see that the site is indeed showing Ezoic ads and is routed through the Ezoic Cloud. Is Google Analytics reporting the same drop in traffic as shown on Ezoic Analytics?

Thanks for your response! I'm sorry, but what do you mean by routed through the Ezoic Cloud? I'm not well-versed in this area, but does it have to do with integration? I just want to make sure because I switched integration recently to WordPress integrated.

And although there is a slight decrease in traffic this week compared to last week, my Google Analytics is reporting pretty similar numbers as before. Definitely nowhere under 3 digits.

But as of yesterday, the Ezoic Visits count went back up to 505 (still less than the usual 1k it reports), but maybe it just needs time to calibrate or something? The EPMV also went back down from the crazy $125 (updated to $285) to $2.50 yesterday.

My mistake! Going through the Ezoic Cloud means that the site is integrated and running though nameserver or Cloudflare integration, however, I see now that it's using WordPress integration.

When switching to this, it is important to note that some caching services may become incompatible. Could you please clear all caching that runs on your site, including any caching at your host, the Ezoic version of your site may not be available to most traffic at this time due to a cached version of the site showing over it.

Thanks so much! That would explain why there's a change starting yesterday because that's when I uninstalled the Litespeed Cache plugin once I found out it was conflicting with the Ezoic plugin. I've now installed WP Fastest Cache which is supposed to be compatible with Ezoic and cleared all cache. Hopefully, it'll be good now!

That is correct, a lot of caching plugins are incompatible with the Ezoic Wordpress Plugin integration and can lead to wrong reporting or ads not to show correctly.
Please note, thatIt's great that WP Fastest Cache unfortunately is also not compatible when you integrate your site via Wordpress Plugin. You find all compatible plugins in this article https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/what-known-caching-plugins-work-or-dont-work-with-ezoic

I can see that the traffic today already increased already to over 900 as per yesterday. However I would still recommend to choose one of the compatible caching plugins to prevent any issues like this in the future.

Thanks for your response! And oops, I thought that plugin was compatible for some reason. But I've uninstalled it and got W3 Total Cache since that's the only option that seems to work for me as of now. And thanks for removing the screenshots. Appreciate all your help!
