The issue of Google occasionally displaying Humix videos as duplicate content is a recognized problem.
These video pages essentially serve as the location where the humix video is "hosted," containing only the individual video and nothing else. Due to the similarity in the URL structure of all hosted videos, the Googlebot occasionally mistakenly assumes they are duplicates. We have attempted to mitigate this by incorporating self-referential canonical links (as recommended by Google's lead SEO engineer), but it seems that the Googlebot still encounters difficulties at times.
That being said, a validation in the Google Search Console (GSC) typically resolves most of these issues. So we recommend to just re-validate the pages if there are flagged for "Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user".
