Why do Humix videos sometimes show on my site even though I have disabled them?

optimist Hi there! Humix is disabled for this domain, so no Humix videos are showing. I checked your site and did not see any Humix videos on any pages I visited. Can you try clearing your cache and checking the site to make sure you're seeing the most up to date version of the page?
As a note, you do have floating video ads enabled, which are not the same as Humix videos. Is this what you are referring to? If you don't want any video ads to show, you'll need to disable the floating video ad player from your Ezoic dashboard by navigating to Ezoic Ads > Ad Positions > Ad Types > Floating Video and toggle the floating video placement to OFF.

No, I'm referring to the Humix videos. They appear when I clear site-wide cache on LEAP. It's an observation I've made.

They then disappear after a while.

I have enabled the floating video ads, yes, and I want to keep them.

I have cleared browser cache and I can't see the Humix videos anymore. But it worries me every time I see them.

I'm not seeing Humix videos when checking the site currently and Humix is disabled, so without being able to replicate the issue we won't really be able to help troubleshoot in this case. If you notice the issue happening again, please let us know - if you can provide a screenshot of what you're seeing, the URL where it is happening, and what browser and/or device you're using when the issue occurs, this will help us narrow down what might be going on.

This is happening to me site wide. Even after clearing caching, disable CF and ezoic cache and clearing browser cache on seperate.devices.

It's super wired as it seems to come and go. It's very odd and makes zero sense.

Hmmmm I see in floating video section under ezoic ads a new option universal ads.

I've disabled this and use standard outstream option, I think that may of been the issue, I'll repost in a few days to confirm or sooner if it is not related.

Is the universal player grabbing videos from humix? Would explain.

Hi Jan, after an hour they have returned.

I have disabled caching again, enabled humix but added /* to disable all pages but these humix type player is still running. it makes no sense, i cannot see how caching is a issue after all the clearing I've done, this has never been a issue until last few days.

Can someone check my humix settings in case I've done something silly which could be the case.

For some odd reason, i tested my pages with the ezoic chrome plugin and the settings i applied in my dashboard were not live, i then disabled humix with the same setup from dashboard using the plugin and for the moment its working. I am unsure what is going on, this seems odd?

Are you still seeing it? It looks like you turned that feature off.
