How to remove certain AI Placeholders

I have been trying to remove certain AI placeholders but it seems its the case of either all or none. There are few AI generated placeholders that are covering the site contents.

Please advise if there is any efficient way to remove certain AI placeholders.

Hello Lilla, Thank you for the information. Another question I have disabled floating videos on the website from the Ezoic website dashboard but the video ads are still showing as floating videos. Is there any other setting that I need to change I do not use plugin so all the settings are at the ezoic dashboard only.

If you have disabled the floating video ads from the Ezoic website dashboard but they are still showing on your site, there are a couple of things you can try to resolve this issue.

First, I recommend clearing the cache under Leap > Caching in your Ezoic dashboard. This will ensure that any cached versions of your site are cleared and the updated settings take effect.

If clearing the cache doesn't resolve the issue, it's possible that the floating video ads are coming from Humix. Humix is a feature within Ezoic that allows for in-stream video ads. If you still have Humix enabled, it's possible that the video ads are being served through that.

To disable Humix, go to your Ezoic dashboard and navigate to Humix > General Settings. From there, you can disable Humix, and the video ads should no longer appear as floating videos on your site.

Please note that turning off floating video ads may have an impact on your revenue. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.

Is there a way to keep Humix but just remove the floating video options. I tried the cache clearance but did not work.

Regal If you would like to keep Humix enabled but remove the floating video options, there is a way to do that within the Ezoic dashboard. Here's what you can do:

Go to your Ezoic dashboard and navigate to Humix > Site > Batch Update Locations.
Make sure the "Enable Floating by Device" option is disabled for all devices.
Next, click on "Select Locations" and set it to apply to all video placeholders.
This will remove the floating video feature for all network videos on your site.

By following these steps, you can keep Humix enabled but remove the floating video options.

Don't know why they started appearing again.

I try to delete them in the chrome extension but get a 'network error' response.

Dale Hi Dale, can you provide us with some specifics as to which placeholders you're trying to disable from the category pages? My recommendation would be to activate the Chrome Extension so you can identify the placeholder ID/name and then use the disable ads by pages app to disable the specific placeholder(s) by directory: https://pubdash.ezoic.com/ezoicads/adrestrictions/disableadsbypage

Thanks Ethan, they're the AI placeholders on the category pages which are breaking the layout.

I tried following your link but I get this: "cottages-to-rent.co.uk is currently experiencing an error. Without being able to access your site we cannot complete our review."

Dale Sorry for the miscommunication in your dashboard, there aren't any errors on the site, I removed the warning.

When you say category pages do you mean the /type/ pages? I just accessed each of those, and see only 1/2 placeholders, all of which are manual and added by you, there's no AI ads on my end. If you can send us direct URLs (if those pages were incorrect) or screenshots of the ads and placeholders causing issues we can take another look

Apologies Ethan. They're the AI placeholders on the blog and category pages that are have moved some of the images downwards.

I just took at the category pages, the only placeholders I can see are the sidebar (which you added) and then the anchor ad. Can you provide some screenshots like I mentioned before so we can take a closer look for you
