Disable ads by page not working when linking from another page.

Hello, I have disabled the directory: stephsunshine.com/print/ under "ad restrictions" > "disable ads by page".
Rule type: directory; value: /print/
However, lower anchor ads are still showing on these pages. Ex: www.stephsunshine.com/print/chickpea-curry-cashew-cream/
I believe if you go directly to the link it will not show up, but the ad is carrying forward from the previous linked page (i.e. www.stephsunshine.com/vegan-life/chickpea-curry-cashew-cream ). This also happens on other blocked pages, if the original page was not blocked. These pages are printable recipes and the ad is covering part of the recipe upon being printed.
This is probably specific to my site (Gatsby-based), so better suited to a support ticket, but I can't find that option anymore.
Please let me know how I can resolve this.

stephsunshine It seems that this may be related to a recent change that we've made with regard to how ads load. I'll speak with our engineers regarding a long-term fix, but as a short-term fix - I've added an Ad Restrictions rule to your site that will disable anchor ads on any page that contains "/print/", which should do the trick.

Let me know if that doesn't work. 🙂

Thanks, but no it didn't work. I already had an ad restrictions rule for that in place... I don't think it's a recent change; I noticed it a long time ago but until now, I never thought about the fact that it was impacting my "print" pages in a way that actually made them unusable.

stephsunshine I believe this has to do with how the page is shown. The URL does change, however, when viewing the path taken to get to the print page, it shows that we're still viewing the URL from before. This is likely why the anchor ads aren't removed when changing pages. How have you configured the "print it" button to direct to the printable recipe?

This is a GatsbyJS (built on ReactJS) site, so it uses Gatsby's internal linking component <Link>

stephsunshine We don't tend to be too compatible with client-side JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS - which is likely the cause of this problem. We're viewing this page, but parts of our system are still detecting it as the previous URL. If this an absolute must have for your site and there's no way of changing the link structure to fully redirect to that URL, you may want to consider our standalone integration (integrating via inserting the code directly on the site, rather than through the cloud): https://docs.ezoic.com/docs/standalone/

I do have the standalone integration, but I think the anchor ad can't be done by standalone, correct? I think that's why the anchor ad at the bottom is the only one causing a problem. Do I need to turn off anchor ads completely? My ePMV is already extremely low....

stephsunshine have you already followed the instructions at https://docs.ezoic.com/docs/standalone/anchor-ads/ regarding turning off anchor ads for a specific page? If so, I can ask our Tech team to take a look. If not, please try that first and then let us know whether that makes a difference 🙂

Thanks! I must have missed the section of the docs for the anchor ads, but yes I got it to work. I also had to use the refresh function to make it work (just in case someone else is reading this later with the same issue).
