Ads.txt question

Hi,
I don't have any Ads.txt on my server. Is it normal?
If it's not, where I can download it?

Lucio1976 it's important to have a valid ads.txt file, otherwise ads will not show. In your case, I'm seeing a valid ads.txt file at yourdomainname.com/ads.txt and everything appears to be correct 🙂

yes, it's all right but is it normal that the ads.txt file is hosted somewhere else than on my server? Because this is the case.

There's no ads.txt on my server. I've migrated few weeks ago so maybe it's cached somewhere or is gone lost.
However, I need to know if I should download it (from where?) and upload it on server.

Lucio1976 Hi there, thanks for clarifying! It looks like you may be using Ezoic's Ads.txt Manager tool, so your ads.txt file should be there to download if you need to reupload it to your root directory. But since the file is still accessible, it should still be active in your Ads.txt Manager account.

I an see it in my Ads Manager tool but I can't download it.
What if I paste in a txt file the content of https://mywebsite/ads.txt and then I upload it as ads.txt on server?
It will work as well?

Lucio1976 Hi there! Just wanted to clarify when using Ezoic it's not unusual for this not to be on your server this is because we can create and set this up for you (using the ads.txt manager app in your dashboard).
When I go to yoursite.com/ads.txt I'm seeing your ads.txt file, and that it's managed by ezoic, so there's nothing further you need to do!
It's also best to leave this to be managed by ezoic (rather than copying and pasting the entries) because we're constantly updating our Ezoic ad partners, so this means we can keep your ads.txt file up to date and ensure you keep earning the best possible revenue for your site.

So to clarify, as long as you're seeing the file when you go to yoursite.com/ads.txt and the ads.txt manager app in your dashboard shows it's good to go there's nothing more you need to do! I hope that helps clear things up 🙂
