Question about Floating Sidebar placeholder

I am using a "sidebar bottom" placeholder and using a plugin to make it sticky.

Today, I realized that Ezoic has a "floating sidebar" placeholder for this purpose.

Now, I have two questions:

"sidebar bottom" or "floating sidebar", which placeholder performs better in terms of revenue?
Does the "floating sidebar" placeholder require a sticky sidebar plugin to make it sticky? Or, Ezoic does it itself?
