Humix Videos Issues

Hi,
Hope you are doing well. I have created many videos in Humix and some videos are indexed in google and some are not indexed due to some issues, which are showing in google search console. I have tried my best to resolve the issues but can not do it. I will share the screeshot and please guide, how to resolve. Thanks

Hey there,

Our video team are currently looking into these kinds of issues as it seems these videos can be incorrectly flagged by Google Search console. In most cases however you should be able to request the page to be re validated by Search Console and Google should remove this error.

Hello,

I have sent many times for validations but after few days again appearing these errors showing as failed Google Search Console. Google neither validate the errors nor remove it. These errors are increasing instead of decreasing and in Humix there is no any option is available to manually fix the issues. Please guide

Hi there,
Have you tried moving the videos higher up the page?
We have found this to be a succesful way to get these videos indexed.

Hello, hope you are doing well. Some issues are showing in google Search Console regarding Humix Videos. I have tried my best to resolved the issue but not success to resolve. First issue showing "Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user" where eleven videos are affected. In this issue google has selected canonical any third person's video not my. Second issue is that "Video is not the main content of the page" where 147 pages are affected. I couldn't resolve the issues for many time and pending now. Screenshots of both issues are attached. Please check and guide how to resolve the issues.

In terms of the first issue (Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user) our team recommend that you try revalidate the URLs in Console. However, even if you continue to see the warning, this is not something to be concerned about. The URLs being flagged are Humix embed URLs, so they consist of just the video and nothing more. We don't want those embed URLs to be indexed and show up in search queries, the Humix dedicated video pages and the pub's articles containing the videos are the preferred pages to index.

In terms of the other indexing issue, this is normal and to be expected. The Humix embed videos will only be indexed from their original source. The videos not indexing isn't an issue you need to be concerned about

Hi,
In first issue I have revalidated the URLs many times but appearing again. When the issues are increasing so, the valid videos are showing zero in google search console, you can see in screenshot which is attached and humix video earning and plays counts are decreasing regularly.

As per Ethans previous answer, we dont want just the video URL to get indexed - "We don't want those embed URLs to be indexed and show up in search queries, the Humix dedicated video pages and the pub's articles containing the videos are the preferred pages to index."
