AI Enhanced post created 404 links

Hello,

I enhanced a post, I believe with Additive AI. The post looks great but I'm getting errors in ahrefs that the post created some 404 pages. Can you help me to resolve this issue?

Did you update your page URLs? You can go to NicheIQ -> Additive AI -> Edited Posts -> Group to revert changes. You can revert all changes or select specific paragraphs to revert.

Thanks, that is very helpful. I reverted the changes for now. It's still showing the updated post but I'll give it time to revert.

You will want to clear your website cache in this case (-> Ezoic cache, hosting cache, WP plugin cache, browser cache etc.).

Hello, I am still having trouble with this article. I removed it from the edited pages by reverting to original, but the article is still appearing as the AI generated version with a problematic link that we need to remove. I think this is also related to a caching issue that I mentioned in another thread. I'm not able to access the displayed post to edit. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Which particular URL are you referencing here?

Have you cleared the cache for the domain, both at Ezoic and with any other service you're using?

Okay - so with that page, can you just do a quick recap of what the issue is exactly?
I know we've discussed 404's in the search console potentially, or a problem editing the page within your wp-admin --- but if you can give us a clear rundown of the current issue with that URL it would help us get back on track here.

Sure thing, I used the additive AI for this URL but it created an issue in ahrefs that returned a 404 error and a double slash in the URL error. So i reverted the post back to the original using that option in niche iq. The article is no longer in the edited articles section, but the AI created articles is still live and I can't edit the actual live version. Neither can my developer who raised this issue as well. They identified a link that needs to be changed on the article to resolve errors on this url and relates to other posts (image attached).

@aaronlee Looking into this with our tech team now. Just so I have all the info in front of me. Are you currently using any caching outside of Ezoic, and your hosts caching? Who are you using for your hosting, and do you have a breakdown of what caching they're using exactly?

Reason I ask is because issues like this are most often down to a caching problem - We've tried bypassing the cache and are still having issues, but having a full breakdown of caching will give the engineers a good place to start

Hello, thanks for looking into this. I'm using Cloudways for hosting. I'm not aware of any other plugins that could be using caching. The host is using "server side caching like Varnish" (photo attached).

I'm in the process of having a developer to switch to using wp rocket but they have not done so yet. They are recommending that I switch to cloud integration. If I want to use wp rocket and still serve ads, do I need to use the ezoic plugin?

Thanks for clarifying. varnish cache isn't compatible with Ezoic, so might be what's causing issues here. Would you be able to disable it fully?

WP Rocket caching should be find, as long as you leave their full page HTML caching off, as that will stop Ezoic from functioning properly as well. I would generally recommend keeping our plugin installed, it shouldn't clash with WP rocket, it'll just allow us to use things like automated caching on the Ezoic end.

Thank you, Cloudways disabled varnish and I cleaned the host cache and Ezoic cache but still having version issues with that article. The AI article titled "Understanding the Cost of Wedding Music Bands: Factors to Consider" is still I've but when I edit reverts back to "How Much are Wedding Music Bands?"

Hello, sorry to send another message. My developers recommended that I ask Ezoic to reset my site to help resolve this caching issue. Please let me know if there are any options regarding this.

We're not sure what they mean by 'reset the site' exactly.
If you've cleared the Ezoic Caching via Dashboard > LEAP > Caching > Clear all then there's no cached versions being served from the Ezoic CDN.

Our NicheIQ team also identified the issue yesterday, and pushed a fix - which they believe should have resolved this now completely.
Are you still seeing the incorrect versions?

Yes, I asked my host to look at this again and they bypassed the Ezoic server, and it works correctly when they take this step (image attached).
By reset, I just wondered what steps can be taken to resolve the issue if it's related to the server other than removing and adding the site again. It seems like it needs to be set up on the server like a new site to resolve the issue, but I'm open to what's necessary to fix it.

That's probably not a valid troubleshooting step. That doesn't necessarily 'reset' anything either.

If it's an Ezoic version issue, then you'd want to make sure all caching is cleared. That also means going to Dashboard > LEAP > Caching > Clear all.

If that's still not working, we can go back to the NicheIQ team as they believed the fix was pushed yesterday.

Thank you. Yes, you're right they just used that troubleshooting to detect where the issue is coming from. I will go ahead and duplicate and delete the original article but there is still an unresolved caching issue related to the server according to my developers.
