  • Easy way to add Analytics categories to WordPress site

Is there an easy way to add categories for Ezoic analytics to my WordPress site. I'd likely just implement a meta tag but this needs to be generated within WordPress. I have a plugin which can add to the header and I would initially likely just use my current site categories, but not sure how to implement this.

    Hi,

That's fine but as far as I am aware WordPress does not include this kind of data by default. The guide is not useful for a WordPress specific scenario, hence my question.

londonblue There's several plugins which allow you to create category metatags, including most SEO plugins. Alternatively you can just add the metatags to the header.php file in the site's header. Once you've added those Ezoic Analytics will begin reporting on the category data.

OK I'll have to reacquaint myself with the WP backend again. I don't want to add a SEO plugin as I no longer see their benefit for the performance hit, given how advanced Google etc. now is.

How I add category tag in my Blogger site for Article Content Reports in Big Data Analytics

no, you didn't understand. I want to say in your site a blog post and that is --
How does Ezoic pull information for Article Content Reports in Big Data Analytics?
In the above post, your blog post shows with example of how to add the 'Categories' metadata.
So now my query is How can I use metadata on the Blogger site?
I have many categories, so how do I add metadata?
            give me a suggestion.

              my category list is below:
              Book Reviews
              Parenting and Children's Reads
              Best Cook Books
              Best Holiday Books
              Books for Women
              Business and Investing Books
              Genre Fiction Books
              Health and Fitness Books
              Learning Books
              Classics and Masterpieces
              Self Help Books

If you are asking how to add meta data to a Blogger post, that's what Emily shared previously.

If you have specific questions about how to use Blogger, you'll want to explore the support options for Blogger:
                https://support.google.com/blogger/

muhiuddinalam It's described in this Ezoic article: https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/how-does-ezoic-pull-information-for-article-content-reports-in-big-data-analytics -> bottom of the page

As for specific Blogger guidelines, you will want to refer to what was posted previously. That being said, Blogger can be more restrictive than other platforms. It's possible that they are limiting available meta tag options for their publishers.
