URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hi, my site seems to have gone offline and my hosting is telling me that the ezoic ssl has stopped working. Can someone help to fix this, please?

Dexterroona I looked into this by editing my hosts file to point to the IP address for the origin server provided by your webhost and the website is down on the origin server also (screenshot below). This means the issue isn't being caused by Ezoic. So, as long as this IP is the correct Ip for the origin server, then there is nothing you need to do on the Ezoic end of things. your host will need to fix this - they could have a problem with their server or your hosting may hve expired for example - you'll need to reach out to them and check. Henry Mto have them cloudflare paused by following these steps: https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/setup/manage-domains/pause-cloudflare/

and then sue a checker like https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/actionfiguregeek.com to confirm if the correct records are resolving

But dreamhost are not seeing this their end.

If they are using a third-party tool like that, then they won't be getting correct results. Ezoic serves as a proxy in this case (similar to Cloudflare). We then point the domain to the IP address you provided: 69.163.180.94.

The issue is when we connect to that IP address directly, not using our proxy, then we still see that hosting error as Emily mentioned earlier.

Again, your host can simply follow this guide to reproduce the error by connecting directly to your site with that IP and without Ezoic as a proxy: https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/how-to-edit-your-hosts-file

Dreamhost can now see the site but it is still not showing they are asking...

Can you please asked then if there is some sort of HTTPS redirect on the site and clear internally their DNS cache because the website is still showing a site not found page even though on the hosts. file the site pages are already present

another follow up
When the site was set-up does it have an SSL certificate installed to it because I previously saw that the site and home URL links were set to HTTPS even though the website has no SSL certificate installed.

Rick AGotcha, that might the case her, please have them restart and re-apply the cert, as I can see that the images are indeed coated with their service for example this link:

Do you not have an SSL certificate installed through Dreamhost?

In that case, yeah, we would need to change the Ezoic SSL setting to Flexible.

Hi i dont have a dreamhost ssl its supposed to be with you guys.

It started to work for me after I updated the setting. Can you clear your caching (including SSL state) or try a different device or browser?

Cleared cache and it works and i still have the image errors that started this whole problem.

What are the image errors?

I have a number of images on the last two articles that are broken. They seem to show on desktop but not on mobile. It was after contacting dreamhost about these errors that all the problems started. Now the site is back and so are the errors.

Are you seeing the broken image links right below the section headers? I'm seeing them on desktop too.

Do you use any image optimization plugins? There could be a technical conflict with the image features built into LEAP. In this case, you could try disabling the external plugin or the image feature in LEAP (-> publisher dashboard -> Leap -> Optimize -> Images).

i have disabled the leap image setting and that hasnt worked. I have been back to dreamhost and they have said...

I would let them know.
IF they can check if there is any setting that needs to be adjusted. As ever since you updated DNS A records (which is now correct) . The images on the mobile is missing/broken. Then also refer them to that article and let them know if this is related and how can it be fixed.
