Hello, I'm checking in on a timeline or resolution for this inaccessible sitemap issue. My host confirms there's no issue with the server, but I'm still getting console errors affecting traffic and site authority. Any input would be very helpful.

Hey aaronlee - hope you're keeping well!

Here's the latest update on why this was occurring with the sitemaps issue:

For any ezoic cloud integrated site with humix turned on, we will generate video sitemap for any ezoic video showing on the site.
YOURSITE/video-ezoic-sitemap.xml
That shows accessible and available to googlebot currently.

If the publisher grants proper permissions when they share their GSC access with us, we will be able to submit above video sitemap to GSC automatically.

Currently, we do not see ezoic video sitemap was submitted in GSC. As in: our automatic sitemap submission was blocked by the permission granted in GSC by the publisher.

However, we were able to manually submit the video sitemap through GSC directly. We should see indexing begin and showing properly for the humix sitemap in the next few days.

We do have tools in the works to make sure this is a bit more visible to publishers as well - part of our mantra of constantly looking at our toolset and finding new and better ways to improve user experience 🙂

You should be seeing the video URLs indexed via your own GSC now - are you still not seeing this reflected?

This looks a little different than the last time I checked. It appears that the ezoic sitemap is processed. Does this appear how it should so far?

Hello, I'm still having an issue with lots of videos with no views. I just want to ensure that I have the right humix setup. Have I missed something when it comes to playlist setup or adding locations?

Just sharing some screenshots related to the video issues above.

aaronlee Your setup looks fine to me! You're not required to add locations for videos as you're using the Humix auto-insert option. If videos aren't getting views this isn't an issue, it just means Humix has decided to show other videos instead which are deemed to be more relevant for your content/other websites (since you're using the share option in Humix). If you have a specific video you want to gain views then you could add a video location on your site, then apply the specific video to that location 🙂

Hi, just checking in again to ensure that this looks right. I haven't seen any improvement in videos ranking, actually none ranking at all and just wanted to be sure that the set up is correct.

When you run a Google search for site:yoursitename.com and then select video search results, you will see videos in your humix folder. Even though they are included in the video sitemap, Google can still decide not to show links to videos on your other content pages for various reasons (e.g. video too small).

That's a good point. It just seems like there's a disconnect somewhere. For example, in my humix channel videos have lots of views but in the studio, hardly any views. I know this is a different question from the sitemap but it just seems like they are not registering or connected to the site which could affect getting ranked.

The variance you are seeing here is between the videos you are showing on your own domain verse the videos that you shared since those will not show up in your studio - https://pubdash.ezoic.com/humix/overview

Hello, all of the feedback provided makes sense. And I don't see any errors in GSC, but there must be some reason that my videos are not indexing. For the number I have posted, I would expect that some would start ranking by now, at least lowly, but none are. If there are any areas that you could recommend that I check for this reason it would be greatly appreciated.

Unrelated, my cache is showing as off for wedistry.com and babyclothesandtoys.com. I reset my cache as my developer recommended but if there is anything else I should do please let me know.

aaronlee - I've gone ahead and updated your caching settings to override cache control headers which will make sure they're hitting. With regards to your video rankings, I'll drop a message with our tech team to see if there's anything out of place.
