Hi,
My Hostinger transferred my server to a new IP address and they told me to update my name server in Ezoic if it is pointing to my old IP address.

I went to Settings and DNS on my dashboard.
Should I only change the

  • Type: A
  • Name: @
  • Value: <NEW IP ADDRESS>

When I tried to do this, the current TTL value was NONE but it is now required.
What is the correct value of TTL?

Also, I assume that I should change the following records.

  • Type: A
  • Name: ftp
  • Value: <NEW IP ADDRESS>

Question(s):

  1. Is this all that I have to change? or there are other values?
  2. How can I verify that my setup for Ezoic is okay once I have made these changes,

Thank you!

donskytech Hey, you need to remove the old IP address from all of your Ezoic DNS records and replace it with Hostinger's new IP address. You can set the TTL as 5 minutes.

      Hey, Thanks!

I have changed only these two values on my DNS settings:
      Type: A
      Name: @
      Value: <NEW IP ADDRESS>

      and

      Type: A
      Name: ftp
      Value: <NEW IP ADDRESS>

Are there any other settings that I need to change and how can I verify that everything is working fine?
      Thanks again.

donskytech Looks good to me, the site is live and running through Ezoic's proxy, so there is no further action needed here 🙂
