Web Stories monetization with Ezoic

Hi team,

I'm thinking of making web stories content as well, just wanted to know if I do, will I be able to monetize it with Ezoic? I know Google Adsense has that option for their publishers, but wasn't sure about Ezoic. Hope to hear from you guys soon, Thanks.

Gaurav7 Hey, unfortunately you cannot currently monetize web stories with Ezoic. What you can do is add the web stories directory /web-stories/ to the disable ads by page app so that you can show AdSense ads 🙂

Hi Imogen, really sorry but I didn't quite get what you meant by showing Adsense ads. The thing is, my site is not older than 6 months, so it's not approved by Adsense as of now. Hence, I can't show Adsense ads. So I wanted to know how the above-mentioned disable ads by page app works for showing ads without Adsense approval. Looking forward to hearning from you, and thanks again for looking into this 😃

Apologies - Imogen's message assumes you have adsense approval - if you're approved by other ad platforms that support web stories monetization though you could just use the disable ads by page app and add your /web-stories/ directory as a rule there and you should be able to serve non-Ezoic ads for your web stories, whilst monetizing the rest of your site through Ezoic: https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/disable-ads-by-page-app

Oh, I see now I get it, thanks HarryB. As far as the other platforms are concerned, I don't have any as I only trust Ezoic and Adsense with my site. Nevertheless, I will start making web stories content anyway. If not ad revenue, I can always gain more traffic with it. Thanks for the support again, as always. Appreciate that.
