Charlie
Well, for starters, it'll be nice if I can create public threads, I don't know what the problem is but whatever I make turns into a private discussion and a bot gives me some bs message. Anyway, here's my main query:
Recently a friend messaged me that he couldn't access my website. He got a firewall block message and it didn't resolve even after he passed the human verification test.
I messaged my host, they said they unblocked all affected IPs.
This same thing happened again with a different friend from another country a few days later.
I tried to replicate the problem and I actually could! It seemed like not all IPs were affected - when using VPN I got the firewall message. And obviously so did other users without VPN and with different IPs. Only the homepage was affected this time.
So I messaged my host again and went through the whole ordeal again and they assured me all affected IPs were unblocked and all is well.
Today I get the issue again. I discovered it, not a friend this time. Without VPN and blocking access to my Wordpress dashboard and homepage and a few other pages too.
Okie dokie, this is not good. So I messaged my host again!
Long story short, they said, and I quote:
"To fix the issue please get in touch with Ezoic Support and ask if your domain is using the proxy list from Namecheap.
Because we are unblocking the IPs, but they are got blocked after some time."
So here I am, messaging you, Ezoic, to ask if you're somehow blocking IPs from accessing my website, why, what I can do and/or if you can fix that FOR GOOD so I don't have to deal with this anymore, please.
Thanks in advance for the support and understanding,
Best,
Simon
