CLS score hit

Hi guys,

My CLS score on www.winute.co.uk/score seems to be taking a major hit recently. I have ads on the page and also use the Emote add on. Any ideas why this would be? Is it the ads/emote causing things to shift and hurting the score? P.s, the page can only be accessed if a player has played today's quiz and are then brought to this page to view their score

dq1 Hi, putting ads on a site will always result in additional latency and will hurt your Core Web Vital Scores. I think its worth remembering your site speed is only one of hundreds of Google ranking factors, so don't get too caught up that site speed can kill your ranking. That said, did you make any recent changes to the site that would've affected speed? Those changes may've been to your Ezoic setup or on the site back end - you may want to reconsider using those features if site speed is important.

Also, can you elaborate on what you mean by the following please: the page can only be accessed if a player has played today's quiz and are then brought to this page to view their score - apologies I don't entirely understand what you mean by that
