I've enabled Ezoic with Cloudflare via the dashboard inside Ezoic. However, When trying to activate email routing inside Cloudflare, it asks me to point to their nameservers. My question is, is this okay to do for me to use their email routing? Right now the namesevers for my site are pointed to ezoic.

The site is currently integrated via Nameserver on Ezoic as well and using Ezoic hosting now.

If Cloudflare require you use their name servers for this then that's actually okay. Changing to their name servers will disconnect you from Ezoic, but then you'll be able to reintegrate via cloudflare directly in your dashboard. Alternatively if you have DNS records you'd like to use for email routing then you can do this directly in your Ezoic DNS Settings https://pubdash.ezoic.com/settings/dns/dnsrecords

THanks for the repsonse - The key part that im worried about is if my site is hosted on EZOIC, will changing nameservers to Cloudfare affect the hosting? My assumption is yes, but thought i'd ask first.

sunitv Good question. Removing nameservers would temporarily remove the site from hosting, but as soon as you reintegrate your site would be live again on Ezoic hosting. If you encounter any issues when reintegrating then let us know

Thanks - so i first change the nameservers and then re-integrate at EZOIC via Cloudfare, is that right?
This won't affect my Wordpress site once its reintergrated?

Are there any other ways besides the dashboard to connect to Cloudfare?

Might need exact instructions on integreating via Cloudfare to avoid any issues.

sunitv Yes that is right and no the site won't be affected. When you change to Cloudflare nameservers, you'll then see an option to integrate via Cloudflare in your Ezoic dashboard, which simply requires you to log into Cloudflare from Ezoic - its pretty straightforward and takes only a handful of minutes!

              8 days later

I just did this for my site - i cannot tell if everything is okay with Ezoic. I changed my nameservers on my namecheap domain to cloudflare, then logged into Ezoic / My website / Settings > Connection > Cloudflare > Activate via Ezoic.

Is there anything else I need to do?

              Thanks for helping out.

sunitv Your site is currently integrated via name servers, rather than Cloudflare. What you've done instead is activated Cloudflare via your account, which means something different to actually integrating via Cloudflare. By installing the Cloudflare app, we can use their platform to serve your site, improving load times and overall performance.

Are you definitely using Cloudlfare name servers? You'd have to remove name server integration with Ezoic (by switching back to your hosts name servers) and then reaccess the dashboard to integrate via Cloudflare.

From what I can see, my DNS settings are now on Cloudflare, so it shoul dbe the case that everything isd worked as needed. I had changed the nameservers on my Namecheap.

It seems thats all there is to it?

Can I ask you to reintegrate via cloudflare in your Ezoic account? You should see the option in your dashboard when you log in.

I already did for my main domain. It shows a button called Disconnect - so I assume its activated?

Thats not the domain i was trying to connect as yet - it was the other one. It says cloudflare integrated on this screen. I'll do the other site once i know everything is working on this one (s....pop.com)

sunitv The site is now integrated via Cloudflare, but as the dashboard points out you need to disable rocket loader: Incompatible Cloudflare rocket loader setting detected for styl*****.com. Please turn OFF rocket loader for your Cloudflare hosted zone.

The site is now showing ads too 🥳

Let us know if you have any additional questions

I've turned off Rocket Loader, IHope there's nothing else to it 🙂 Thanks!

So i've tried to login and seem to be getting an error to login (admin rights) - for my domain / wp-admin
Is there something i have to change somewhere?

Do you have any security software active on the site? If so, can you whitelist our IPs? You can find a guide on how to do this here. https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/how-to-fix-origin-errors

Let me know if you're having any issues with it as I can deactivate Ezoic temporarily if you need to get access to your backend

Nothing that i know of, just pointed the namesevers to Cloudflare.

Added all the IPs per your file except the last few, i get the error below. I tried adding it in Custom List but it doesnt work and allow me to add anyhthing.- as i dont know how to add them into CloudFlare. But beyond this, no security thing on my site as far as im aware. How do i fix this? I need to access my site as normal otherwise
the Ezoic to Cloudflare integration is not worthwhile for me.

Only an IPv6 range (CIDR) value of /32, /48, or /64 is allowed for IP Access Rules. Use Firewall Custom Rules and IP Lists instead.

sunitv If you're running into issues when using Ezoic hosting its likely because you're using a plugin that isn't compatible with our hosting. It does look like you're using a reCAPTCHA security plugin too. To troubleshoot this you need to disable your plugins. In order to disable the plugins whilst on Ezoic hosting you can access the files via SFTP. Next, disable the plugin folder entirely to see if that resolves the issue, simply add ‘-old’ or ‘-deactivated’ to the end of the plugin folder name. If it does, you can then locate the specific plugin(s) causing the error and leave those disabled, again adding the phrases ‘-old’ or ‘-deactivated’ to the end of the specific plugin name. Here’s how to access SFTP whilst using Ezoic hosting: https://wordpress.ezoic.com/how-to-access-sftp-when-site-is-hosted-on-ezoic/#:~:text=In%20order%20to%20access%20SFTP,upper%20left%20of%20your%20dashboard.

If that doesn‘t fix it, let us know
