Ezoic traffic data does not match Search Console data

Hey there again,

I have another issue I need help with. The traffic data shown by Ezoic analytics recently appears to not match my Google Search Console data. Particularly in the dashboard, the last few days between February 24th and 26th are shown to be lower than all days before, although traffic has significantly increased during that time. Additionally, the data in the analytics section for traffic during said days neither matches the dashboard data nor the Search Console data.

Moreover, did I have several days in the past few weeks when there were zero earnings despite some of the affected days overall traffic was higher than on other days with earnings. Could you please advise what's the matter with this?

gruenesarchiv Hi, can you send us a screenshot of the traffic from Google Analytics so we can compare that to Ezoic? Your Ezoic traffic has been reporting fairly consistently so it seems odd that traffic would've only just recently been inaccurate.

In terms of the days with 0 earnings - the level of traffic/number of visits isn't the only metric which would affect your earnings. For example, if we take February 23rd, you'll see a decent portion of the visits were actually pretty low quality, which is why you didn't earn any revenue on that day.

Could you possibly not share my data in public? I can send you a screenshot for sure, but again, I would appreciate some discretion when it comes to customer data??? Also, what exactly is defined as low quality traffic?

Sorry for the late reply, but I didn't get any mail notification about a response and the past few weeks were rather busy. Thanks for the shared link, but may I ask how a site owner can identify and limit such low quality traffic? I am asking particularly due to the rise of bot traffic from AI chat engines such as Google Gemini and OpenAI, which I would gladly block if there's any opportunity to do so.

I'm also asking particularly because I had the impression that the traffic I screen on my WordPress plugin Jetpack does not really match with either Ezoic nor Google Search Console, let alone the revenue. The past few days, I had pretty much zero revenue despite traffic at least on one day of traffic rising compared to previous days, even according to Ezoic's data. The line for Premium earnings isn't even shown anymore at all, which sort of renders the subscription plan rather useless from my point of view.

I can see what you're saying about the revenue drop despite traffic, although on one of these days I did notice that there was particularly low engagement on one of those days, and there seemed to be a minimal number of impressions over those days. Did you happen to notice ads not showing at all in those days?
