The same happened to my site. I have never used AI for any posts, images or videos, I have written all my articles by myself, they were well researched and brought unique points and were often ranking quite well. I did not scrape or steal any content from other sites, everything was original and unique content. There is no harmful content, there are no downloads and no other user-unfriendly methods were used at all.
I have not bought any backlinks, never sold guest posts or links, did not participate in link-exchanges or anything like that. I have not bought any old domains and pointed them to my site and there was also no Site reputation abuse. So each and every point you mentioned here: https://community.ezoic.com/d/36942-google-spam-update-2024-what-it-means-and-how-to-protect-your-sites-ranking wasn't the case with my site.
I went several times through the old as well as the new spam policies guidelines, and I am not aware of breaking any of these rules, neither unintentionally nor intentionally. I did already reduce the number of ads drastically before this change happend to improve the user experience.
But still my site, in which I invested about 5 years of work, got marked as "pure spam". It was getting worse and worse in the rankings over the last months already and now it's completely wiped from the SERPs. This hurts a lot, as a person and as a creator who stands behind his publication as well. I am quite broken and depressed now, and have no clue how to solve this. The report and the guidelines do not tell me any solution, as I am not aware of breaking any of the mentioned rules.
