I have an ad overlapping a video

I have an ad overlapping a video on my homepage and I don't know how to stop this. I have tried several things and nothing has worked. Can you help me resolve this issue?

MrCastIron Just taking a closer look, your whole ad setup looks a little messy right now with placeholders extending beyond the containers. Additionally the video is floating on the left and clashing with content, but typically the video would float on the right of pages (so wouldn't clash with content). Have you recently changed your theme by any chance?

Ethan hey Ethan! Thank you for getting back to me. I haven’t changed themes, but I switched hosts and have been finding some issues like this and others that I am trying to fix. I’ll change the videos to the right side, but why is another ad stacked on top of the video like that? Also, can you instruct me on how to fix the placeholder issues?

MrCastIron Hi, typically ads would not fit in containers correctly when you change theme, as you alter the html structure of your site. That said, we may just be cached into a poor version of the site (a by-product of you moving host). Which host are you using now? Can you double check caching is off at your host and you cleared any other caching you have e.g. via plugins? If we keep seeing issues with the ad layout after that we can troubleshoot further but hopefully it is just a caching issue

Ethan I switched to SiteGround. I use the Astra theme, too. Is there a specific layout for containers I need to use, because I may have changed those after the site was migrated...I don't remember for sure. And I'll double-check the cache too.

MrCastIron This host / theme is typically very compatible - have you used any kind of builder on the site? The text container on this page does not have any margins at all which is unusual

Imogen I used Elementor several years ago on a couple of posts but I haven’t used that in a long while. It was on a post or two but not the homepage. Do I need to try to find those older pages to see if I can edit those to fit differently?

We have adjusted the ad sizes in the sidebar to remove overlaps. Are you still seeing the issue with the overlapping ad / video on the homepage?

Mohammad2306 yes I am. When you look at my website homepage on mobile, almost immediately, there will be a video that pops up of mine, and on top of it is another video of mine, or sometimes it is an ad.
