  • Can not assign dedicated video page

When I click the Edit dedicated video page and assign a valid and correct URL, it shows the below error, I do not know why. You can see the error message in the attached image. I confirm the URL is correct.

We were unable to find an article with that URL, please double check the spelling and format and try again

Jerry Which video are you trying to assign to that URL? Or, do no videos allow you to assign a URL?

if you provide a specific video title and URL we can try recreate on our end

Ethan This issue happen on almost all videos, but sometime, it will not happen, not stable. The article exists, and the video has been added to the article, but it still show the error message.

Jerry So the video is getting added to the article despite the error message showing? Which video are you trying to assigned to that article? I'm not currently seeing a Humix insert on the URL that you included in the thread form. If you can let us know, we can test this out on our end.

Bye the way, what is the difference between Assign Video To Pages & Associated Article, why there are all exist in one page. When I click the dedicated video page, it always return a 404 not found error, How can I fix this?

Jerry - so assign video to pages would limit the urls you enter to only show that video through humix.

Associated video would include a link with the video to a page you choose, meaning the video could be shown on another page, but would also link back to the associated article, like an internal link.

Looks like you've successfully shared this video to the page you requested. Were you able to get it to work? Are you still getting the error now ? If so, let us know and we can have our tech team take a closer look.

When I input the page URL in the Associated Article section, it shows a green check instead of the red warn message now.
But when I click the Dedicated Video Page link in the Associated Article section, it still shows a 404 page not found error.

Jerry The good news is the video is definitely showing on the article, I'll contact the Humix team to see why the video URL is returning a 404 and will let you know when they get back to us

Jerry The setting to enable dedicated video pages got disabled on the backend for your site, we've reenabled now and this is resolved

Thank you for your help. Can I enable and disable the feature (enable dedicated video pages) by myself on the Ezoic Humix dashboard? Thanks a lot.

Jerry This isn't a setting that you can change on your end no - if you need any furhter assistance with this, please let us know!
