Disable Ad in Header

How can I disable an ad in my header that I think is causing my search not to work? On mobile it is also causing my menu to not appear.

dcurtis Hey, you can add in an exclusion filter here. You'll need to identify the necessary element from your header and than add this in as an exclusion. I have read and followed the article but it is still not working. Any suggestions?

Looks like there was an additional placeholder in your header that wasn't being removed. I've gone ahead and taken that out so you should be all set. Make sure you clear your browser cache and cookies and you should be all set

I have cleared the cache and checked it on both my desktop and my phone. The search is still not working and on mobile the menu isn't working.

dcurtis Sorry to hear that. Given that we've excluded the ad from your site but you're still facing this issue you need to disable the Leap Optimization Settings one by one to see if one of those is incompatible with your site.

Using the Leap preview option will show you how the site looks with the specific optimization setting(s) disabled too. I would recommend toggling off the script execution settings or CSS settings first.

Once you find the setting incompatible with your site, you can then proceed to either leave the setting off entirely, you can test toggling off the advanced settings one by one and leaving those up, or set up some exclusion rules in Leap so the scripts which were breaking no longer get optimized by Leap.
