Daniel Faria has been an Ezoic publisher since August of 2021. His website went from a side hobby to a legitimate source of income that he uses to pay living expenses. His website is a really interesting mix of content about mythology, paganism, various different deities from various cultures, horoscopes and more. He started his website in 2014 for a Brazilian market and has since expanded to have a successful English-language website with a wide global audience.
Most recently, he has shifted a big part of his website’s focus to monetizing various videos using Flickify and Humix. Here are some statistics about his website that may help you think about opportunities for your own site’s growth.
Some site overview statistics
- Domain: santuariolunar.com
- Site Level: 2
- Niche: Sports/Hobbies (Mythology & Paganism)
- 1 Year Revenue Increase: 133.43%
- 1 Year Visits Increase: 263.73%
Now, for some video statistics…
- Videos created using Flickify: 4
- Videos uploaded to Humix: 107
- Revenue in last 30 days: $71.97
- Revenue from video in last 30 days: $12.14
- Percent of revenue from video: 16.8%
Why he tried Humix:
Faria’s YouTube subscribers reached around 50,000 people across all his channels. However, the earnings and the view for these YouTube accounts have consistently decreased recently. So, Faria uploaded all the videos he could that he had already created to Humix instead. So far, he has seen a 300% increase in revenue for the videos on Humix from one channel that previously had 10,000 subscribers on YouTube.
### Plan going forward:
Faria now plans to upload any videos that he creates for YouTube to Humix as well.
“My strategy now is just to keep a relationship with some YouTube users while the real thing happens on Humix.”
He is also using Flickify to create videos that will be exclusive to his Humix audience. He aims to convert all his blog posts going forward into videos with Flickify.
“This way I'll be offering users both the written articles and videos, so if they are tired of reading they can simply watch and listen to the content. Thanks to Flickify users will be contemplated the best way to get information regardless being visual or auditory.”
Question for any readers – do you plan to incorporate Humix or Flickify in a similar way for your site? Do you have any tips for other users who are looking to make a jump from creating content for YouTube to creating it for your website or Humix?
