It sounds like you've identified that there's a conflict between LEAP optimizations and your origin site (which keep in mind can include other speed optimizations that could be redundant or incompatible).
If that's the case, then troubleshooting would mean being willing to turn LEAP back ON to do a bit of testing, and then turning OFF individual features of LEAP one at a time to identify which setting is causing the issue.
From experience, our hunch would be that Script Delay could be part of the issue, in which case you'd need to attempt to exclude the individual scripts that are being delayed and causing the errors.
