M_Kali Hello Heather here I hope you are well.
I can certainly understand from a Publishers point of view why the introduction of AI technology causes concerns AI content is just in it's infancy at the moment and it's likely that there will be a lot of change in the coming years. We can't say for sure what is going to happen as there is so many levels to it that we aren't able to predict what the future is going to look like.
The current technology cannot yet match the quality of content that a human can provide. AI technology has the potential to improve over time, but the reality is that it is still far behind what a human can do. AI can never replace a human’s creativity, skill and knowledge when it comes to content creation.
Also, humans can always add a unique perspective to content that AI cannot replicate. You can read more about this here: https://www.ezoic.com/the-publisher-lab-chatgpt/
I spent some time over the weekend working on my own blogs and used ChatGPT it saved me so much time, gave me some great ideas for keywords and optimized titles and content that I could then edit and add in my unique voice and perspective to it.
And so whilst I can understand your concerns from the experiences that I have had I would recommend looking into what you can use ChatGPT for to grow your business, to maximize your time and financial investment better and how you can use it to level up your writing.
