How to force sticky/floating sidebar placeholder to display ads?

I've got the Sticky / Floating Sidebar placeholder configured. It's displaying ads / not displaying ads on certain pages.

Is there a way to force the Sticky / Floating Sidebar placeholder to always display an ad on a specific page? The page I want to do this on is a very long page. It is also the page that gets the most visits.

However I did notice monumetric publishers have it

We're just confirming this with our team, but for the most part, this is not possible as it simply comes down to the bidding process and which partner bids on that particular floating side bar.

A floating side bar also typically appears due to high visibility.

Hey all, thanks for chiming in. It displays randomly. The bidding process makes sense why it doesn't display all the time. Though I was hoping there'd be a way for it to display ads 100% of the time on my page that gets the highest number visit of visits (by a wide margin compared to the rest of the pages).

Ezoic works by tailoring the advertising experience to each user, on an individual basis. Our rationale is that yes, a sidebar ad on every page would probably lead to more revenue in the short-term; but what about if that ad dissuades people from coming back to the page or if it makes them spend less time on the page in general? Our AI will constantly test new variations of ads with users, some will have a sidebar ad and some won't. The idea is that this will maximize your EPMV (earnings per 1000 visitors) by showing users the maximum number of ads, with the minimal impact on user experience.

kraftysprouts Hi there. I can't see what site you're talking about, so I can't check this for you. I would recommend making sure that you have a floating sidebar placeholder enabled and that you have it enabled inside your Ezoic dashboard (under "Ad Types"). If you're still having trouble, let me know either the domain (the first letters should be fine if you're not comfortable sharing the whole thing), and I'll take a look. 🙂

The whole sites in our account FLOATING SIDEBAR is not working, not an issue though.

kraftysprouts From what I can see, sites such as theq-.com and anim-.com have a sidebar that covers the entire right side of the screen, so a sticky sidebar wouldn't necessarily work with this configuration. On sites, such as asoo-.com, where the sidebar isn't already sticky; I am seeing a working sticky sidebar ad.

If you want the sticky sidebar ads to appear on all of your sites, I would suggest looking into seeing if you can rework your existing sidebar set-up, to make that not sticky. You've said it's not an issue, so it doesn't seem like you want to do that, but if that is something you want to do in future - that would be the way forward. 🙂
