Hi, I am about to start using an email hosting provider, and they require that I update my DNS records, add MX records and delete the ones that exist. My confusion comes when by trying to do this Namecheap I see this 'You can manage mail settings in your cPanel account, or transfer DNS back to Namecheap BasicDNS to manage the records here. Change DNS Type'
I don't have a cPanel account in my current hosting company Cloudways, so I assume I can add my new MX records in the Ezoic Setting DNS Dashboard nonetheless my concern is, will this work, and is this a good practice?
Because I have integrated Ezoic via name servers and I understand it acts as a proxy between my site and my users. But the one that should have this updated DNS record should be Namecheap right? So I should change back momentarily my DNS records to Namecheap and then after adding the new MX records change back to Ezoic? I am confused about how is the best way to proceed with this.
