  • Site Not Found after Clear cache by URL

Hi,

I need you help. I cleared the cache for the main url and for the one I wrote in the Affected URLs section (if applicable). After I performed Clear cache by URL, the page no longer loads and I receive the message Site Not Found.

DNS type A is set the same as at Dreamhost.

Thank you,
Iulian

iulian Are you 100% sure that the A @ record for your site matches the IP provided by Dreamhost? That IP is currently returning a "Site Not Found" error, even without Ezoic, so if the IPs do match - then I would recommend speaking with Dreamhost, as there seems to be a problem at their end.

If the IPs don't match, updating the DNS records in Ezoic to match the new IP should fix the issue. 🙂

I checked and the IP is the same in both Ezoic and Dreamhost.

iulian Thanks for letting us know. In that case it appears the issue is with Dreamhost, as we're getting this error without Ezoic as well. Please can you reach out to them to look into this for you?

          The first response from Dreamhost:

          1. Since Ezoic like Cloudflare uses IPv6 and your domain does not possess IPv6 enabled through DreamHost yet, for every domains hosted through DreamHost I would recommend first enabling IPv6 from your DreamHost
            panel.
          2. After that, make sure that each domain and subdomain using Ezoic points their "non-www and www URLs" to your DreamHost web server via their "A and AAAA records".
          3. After adding your DNS records to your Ezoic account, pause or turn off Ezoic and add your SSL certificate for each domain through DreamHost.

I made the steps, also update IPv6 on Ezoic DNS section, the step 3 failed to activate the free SSL, so I need to check with you.

          The last response from Dreamhost:
I just received a response from the Admin team. They are asking for you to get in touch with Ezoic and ask them why pausing the service does not unmask the IP addresses. Unfortunately, we cannot push the SSL certificate with the IP addresses masked.

          Please help me!

iulian I've disabled the Ezoic proxy, which should allow your host to see the IP and generate an SSL. Let us know once that can be enabled again.

The issue is not solved, Dreamhost answer:

The issue does seem to be that the proxy is not being unmasked, since I do see the actual A / AAAA records in your configuration, you would need to let them know that the proxy is not coming off the DNS, and the SSL validation cannot reach the real DNS.

                Hello,
                Please check my primary site.
After several discussions that did not solve the issue, I decided to try to solve the issue myself.
I changed nameservers to Dreamhost, then I made the SSL activation(it was only for one month, so I had to pay for 1 year because Dreamhost no longer offers free SSL for those who have not set their nameservers), them I changed back the nameservers to Ezoic.
                Regards,
                Iulian

                  iulian Hi,
I can see you have switched back to Ezoic Nameservers. I have been able to complete the integration and you should start to see Ezoic on your site again.

                    Hi,
On Ezoic DNS panel, on the IPv4(Type: A, Name: @), if I set ON the Cloudflare Proxy the site do not load, error on SSL certificate.
In Dreamhost panel I have the SSL on: the SSL/TLS Certificate Active, Certificate: Sectigo DV, Automatically renews on 2024-09-11.
Also on Dreamhost I activated IPv6 Active, because they said that Ezoic uses IPv6. Until now in Ezoic panel I had IPv4.
Tell me the next steps. Cloudflare Proxy(for IPv4 in Ezoic panel) must be ON or OFF?
                    Regards,
                    Iulian

                      Hi there,

As your site is nameserver integrated, you don't need to switch on the Cloudflare Proxy. This setting is only used if you use the Cloudflare integration method, which you are not.

Ezoic is also compatible with both IPv4 and IPv6 and I can see that you currently have both IP addresses added to the Ezoic dashboard which should not cause any issues.

I can currently see your site up and integrated, so this looks good.
