Cache not working

Hello, I recently changed my nameservers back to Ezoic from Cloudflare but the cache is still not working. I'm earning from ads but just wanted to ask if I'm missing something that I need to do for the cache to build up again.

I saw a warning to say that there was a vary header present that was blocking caching from working, but after taking a look at your site it looks as though that cookie is no longer present and the cache is hitting. Have you made any changes since opening this thread that might have fixed the issue?

Hello, no, I did make some changes but not after opening this thread. I've been working with my hosting about that vary header issue but tried to make sure it was resolved before opening this thread. This morning, my history says that the cache is off again.

aaronlee What did your host say exactly about the vary headers? I'm still seeing 'disallowed vary header values are present' as the reason for your cache miss

The host tried to fix it a couple of times. It seemed to work at first and reverted to not working. Here is what they've tried in their words. "I've tried to add the header rule in the .htaccess but no luck and also checked the rule in the .htaccess but it's again failed."

It looks like your chache hit rate started to go back up again as of yesterday. I just went to your site and it showed a cache hit as well (x-ezoic-cdnHit).

Thank you, I see the cache appearing in the dashboard today as well.

Hello, I checked again and the cache hit for 2nd day in a row however the error is still appearing in Leap. I just wanted to check to see if this was resolved and if it will just take time for the error to disappear.

aaronlee Let's give it a few days, it looks like your cache hit rate is continuing to increase so I don't think there is any cause for concern here:

Hello, the cache has improved some, but still stuck between 50 and 60 percent. I did need to clear it because of a issue my host fixed with my database, but any guidance on how I can improve cache rate further?

Do you usually clear the cache for the whole domain? That's not always necessary and will reduce your cache hit rate too.

You can just clear the cache for pages that you update. Since your site is built with WordPress, you can use Ezoic's CDN Manager.

I try only to clear it for major issues. My host found a PHP access error that I cleared it for, and I'm also having an issue with this URL https://www.wedistry.com/how-much-are-wedding-music-bands/ (I have a separate thread for this issue), but there still seems to be an underlying issue that's keeping my cache rate very low. Do you have any recommendations, or is it possible that you could look into it further?

Let's not try and troubleshoot issues on two different threads.
It might be best to finish up the other thread first, then have you come back to this one about caching hit rate once we've cleared up the original issue with that URL.
