A 'cache bust' means the caching app was cleared.
We can see it's been cleared a few times over the last month, which would mean that the cache would need to 'rebuild' and you'd see misses.
Further, we really encourage you to try and read through our statements surrounding the one 30day average report you're referencing. It's going to fluctuate, as was pointed out by Mohammad and myself, based on the nature of each day having different values.
Lastly, we'd encourage you to use the Analytics tab in the Dashboard to run reports for cache misses and cache hit percentages, rather than focus on that 30 day average.
Overall, it needs to be pointed out that a cache hit rate above 60% is usually a sign of a healthy caching / speed setup. Anything above that is phenomenal.
It also needs to be noted that a caching hit rate dropping from 90% to 70% would not really be responsible for a 'traffic drop' --- speed accounts for around 2% of search rankings, and that's related to core-web vitals - and unless your cache hit 'drop' you're referencing has coincided with an increased bounce rate and decrease in user engagement metrics, there's very rarely a correlation when the cache hit rate is still so high.
