We have also researched the set-up back at that time here: https://support.ezoic.com/tickets.php?id=381837
and we translate it here so it might help to get it back working:
When we asked about the warning message in Dashboard, we got earlier this was our question:
Ezoic Answer:
I asked the technical team again and they actually closed the message manually. Please excuse me, I was not aware of this. However, they said that it makes sense that the message is still displayed even after exclusion because our system simply checks the Cloudflare settings and as soon as it detects a caching setting other than the default, a warning is displayed.
When we wanted to actively add the folder because we got a MISS for Ezoic and HIT for Cloudflare this was our question:
Could we still add back the /static directory or remove it from the exclusion? We would also like to have the json files captured by the Ezoic CDN. Since there is no advertising there, there should be no problems. We have removed it before, but not sure if your tech needs to do anything else. Before it was always bypassed when we excluded it. Now we get a MISS, CF receives HIT. Thanks for any advice on what we need to do to get a HIT at Ezoic.
Ezoic Answer:
Our technical team has to make this adjustment. I'll let you know when it's done.
After the exlusion was reverted, we got a HIT
But somehow we reported the problem with any exclusion rules active on these folders and still got the MISS. What is irritating then when you check the Debug Cache Tool that you get the 403. Can you check why the JSON gets a 403 but in browser it shows 200 from Ezoic?
Even when we add 403 as accepted Status Code in Caching settings it will still get a MISS. At the end what we know for sure is that once "Cache everything" for /static is active on Cloudflare we get the MISS, once it is inactive on Cloudflare we get the HIT.
Thanks
Tom
