Hi @Lee1968 - hope you're keeping well!
This is all very helpful, and we understand the concern, but from experience this variance is not something we should be overly worried about. If we see an average below 20% variance we're typically not going to be 'concerned' that there's something super amiss. You're certainly right to bring this up though, it's good to be on top of things!
If you'd like to keep digging, we'd advise that you try to find where that variance is coming from.
Is Google reporting more traffic from a specific source that maybe isn't getting picked up by Ezoic?
Is it possible that Google might be tracking users/admins that log into the site as well?
Is it possible that the Google tracking script might be firing twice somewhere?
Do you use any AMP or similar technology on mobile devices?
Are their any subdomains that aren't included in the Ezoic DNS?
Again, it might be helpful to pick a specific date where you saw the larger variance, and drill down to see what pages were visited the most, and see a comparison of the traffic on that page.
I think we might be working very hard though to 'solve' an issue that in reality isn't necessarily causing any issue.
Is the concern that you might be 'missing out' on revenue because visits aren't being recorded with Ezoic?
We can assure you that visitors to the site are seeing Ezoic versions, a reporting issue is rarely correlative to loss of revenue.
