I have an issue with my Consent Management. I am using te Ezoic Consent Management Tool, but my Google analytics keep informing me that they cannot detect such settings. I have connected my Ezoic with my Google analytics account but still not yet connected.

Are you able to set up your GA4 tags to wait for consent? That should fix this issue https://developers.google.com/tag-platform/security/guides/consent?consentmode=advanced
Pharmchoices I Have this same issue, I am also using the Ezoic Consent management tool. were you able to fix this error?
Ezoic Employee
smit_patel As Harry mentioned, are you ale to set up the GA4 tags? That should resolve this for you and clear the warning in Google Console
Our team are currently exploring if we can add the tags from our end to make the process more automated but for now you'll need to add the GA4 tags manually following the guide sent above.
Ethan I don't understand that guide at all because I am not using any gtag or tag manager. I am using WordPress and Ezoic's consent manager. can you share step by step guide of changes I need to make
Ezoic Employee
smit_patel Hi, you need to set up the GA4 tags to wait for consent via Google Analytics, which is where you are seeing this warning message. Since the warning is coming from Google Analytics it isn't something we can provide too much assistance on. If you're having issue setting up the tags then you may just need to wait for our team to implement a change in our consent feature so we can automate the process for you
I don't have the technical knowledge to set up tags. I hope the Ezoic team can implement them soon because this seems to be affecting the revenue too

smit_patel What makes you think its affecting revenue exactly? Has revenue fallen at the same time this warning started appearing in analytics? Your site does still have a Google certified CMP/consent banner even with the warning showing in Analytics. I also wouldn't expect it to affect revenue if the warning is only in analytics and not Search Console.
Ethan I think personalised ads have stopped showing or being shown in significantly low quantity due the new rule.
smit_patel in Adsense mediation I am recently getting less ad impressions than even total page view Which is very weird because ad impressions always been more than page view in Adsense mediation
Ezoic Employee
This seems more like coincidence than anything based on facts around how consent is working on the site.
Mediation relies on AdSense outbidding Ezoic partners. Over time, we always expect Mediation earnings to decline, but overall earnings to improve. That's a natural and expected progression when using Ezoic ad services.
There's also no indication that session related ads have stopped showing on the site. In reality, your traffic has declined fairly considerably in the last week or so - which is why you're earning less.
Tucker_P_Ezoic I don't think AdSense's impression would be this low compared to the pageview(check the picture). there is definitely something wrong with mediation.
Ezoic Employee
smit_patel I recommend reviewing this knowledge base to better understand how mediation works: https://support.ezoic.com/kb/article/google-adsense-and-the-mediation-app.
As Tucker explained, if your mediation earnings are decreasing but your overall Ezoic revenue is increasing, this signifies that Ezoic ad partners are winning the bids for ad inventory instead of AdSense. Looking at your revenue and traffic data, while your traffic has decreased over the past 3 months, your revenue has remained relatively stable.
