I looked through some of the other threads and found that my Cache refresh is at 30 days (which is the recommended) but my Cache hit is only around 45%. I've looked through some other articles but am not sure where to go next to help it improve.

Any advice?

CeeGee Your Ezoic cache settings look good, who're you using for hosting and do you have any caching plugins? I don't see that you've been clearing the cache manually either, which would contribute to poorer cache hit rates.

The only suggestion with the Ezoic settings would be to turn on override cache control headers, which'll assure Ezoic caching overrides caching on the origin server.

I did set up Leap but did not download the Ezoic app to my website, which might be part of the problem. That said, I would probably be interested in other caching apps if possible. Hosting is done through Bluehost right now which looks like it might be a slower option as well. Is that true and is it worth switching hosting to GoDaddy or otherwise?

GoDaddy are known to have compatibility issues with Ezoic, but regardless with leap and our caching functioning properly I wouldn't anticipate you needing to switch hosting. I've activated override cache control headers which should significantly improve things for you. It'll take a day or two to take effect 🙂

Awesome, thank you! Can you expand on what that does and if it's a setting I can adjust myself?

CeeGee Hey, you can make changes to your caching settings if you scroll down, here: https://pubdash.ezoic.com/leap/caching. Turning this setting on will override rules usually set by a plugin or host that can prevent Ezoic and other CDN's from caching your content.
