  • Troubleshooting lack of data collection in Ezoic Leap dashboard

Ezoic Leap has stopped collecting data and I do not know why. Please could someone help? I tried the chat bot and it won't connect me with a real person. Thank you

Nice work on sending your first question to the community. The Ezoic Support team will aim to get back to you as quickly as possible, please keep in mind that sending any additional messages will lead to longer response times. We're looking forward to connecting with you!

Beachbumadventure Your site has enough visits to be producing scores for Core Web Vitals, I'll ask the speed team to look into it for you and will let you know what they say 🙂

Beachbumadventure Hi, the team got back to me. The Leap scores use Google's report data in Pagespeed Insights. On some pages right now your site doesn't have Core Web Vital scores. To be honest, with the number of visitors you're getting I'd expect site scores. However if you check out this guide you can see why that data won't necessarily show: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-on-why-page-experience-report-has-no-data/408247/

However, CWVs will be less relevant for the site until there's enough field data for Google to generate reports. You can still see data sampled by us from pageviews in Ezoic Analytics, though.

Ethan Hi Ethan, thanks for getting back to me. I really don't understand though. The traffic receive is no different on these days than any other and I want to see if plugins I am implementing are affecting my site speed but I can't! It seems as if something isn't 'talking' properly to Leap anymore? Can you please advise?

Beachbumadventure As I mentioned, its Google that is unable to produce the report data for you currently and that is why Ezoic isn't pulling through the data. I cannot comment on why Google isn't able to produce data for you for those reports. If the data was reported it'd pull through to Leap automatically.

Your cache hit rate has been very low recently, what caching plugins are you using? I'd recommend disabling those to see if it helps with Pagepseed Insights reporting. Your Ezoic cache settings look good.

Thank you Ethan. No idea what Google is doing but it all seems to be showing data from the last week onwards. Thank you for your help. I have Siteground caching as well as Ezoic. Is it best to just use the Ezoic one only? Thank you for your advice 🙂

Beachbumadventure Hi, Siteground caching could potentially be causing issues, I'd disable that. As a best practice we do recommend only using one caching platform so we can be sure that there isn't any clashing with the caching technologies
