Have you checked your browser settings (e.g. Chrome -> Settings -> Languages)? Can you also make sure you have default settings enabled for security, no ad blockers and cache cleared?

    Mohammad2306 yes I have checked it. Also a inkognitoBrowserTab don't have caching. The text of the policypopup is in german, so something went wrong on your side. Please check my before posted error with missing text after click on aggree on policypopup

      I've just tried changing my chrome settings to german and it looks like this is working as expected on my end. I've gone ahead and cleared your Ezoic cache. Could you try clearing your browser cache+cookies and trying again?

        a month later

        HarryB Hi, we have still the problem with chromeBrowser on firefox it's working. Also I checked the browserSettings (german). Cache is cleared. I have checked the ezoicDashboard setting for default language, this is on german (de). Could you see the issue too?

          manolo I've just this second changed Chrome over to German and see the same a Harry. Can you double check you're not using a VPN that might be changing your traffic location? Have you also made sure to clear the cache at your host and via any plugins?

            Ethan We don't use vpn. We have also checked the issue on different devices, mobilephones with german simCards too. The cache are cleared on all devices. On different browsers.

            But even if it were to run via vpn, the text should not be empty, that seem like a bug, could you check it please?

              Do you have a more recent / updated screenshot of exactly what you're seeing?
              Looks like the last time a screenshot from your end was shared, it showed 'privacy' vs the German text that you're expecting, but that was on the 19th of January.
              If you can provide us with screenshots of what you're seeing currently, we can take a further look. We're just unable to recreate it and therefore would need evidence from your end 🙂

                Tucker_P_Ezoic sure:

                mobilePhone:
                firefox => issue
                chrome => issue
                opera => issue

                dekstop:
                firefox => fine
                chrome => issue (please look at new screenshot)
                opera => fine

                We have cleared the complete cache of each browser before.

                  We'll have a look with the engineers, thanks for the additional information.
                  If you haven't heard back from us by this time tomorrow feel free to reach back out here 🙂

                    8 days later

                    It's still being looked into - I've made sure to chase it up again and make sure they have enough information. If the engineers have questions I'll reach out again here 🙂 Thanks for your patience.

                      a month later

                      What language is the Chrome desktop browser set to by default?
                      Is it German by chance?
                      Are the desktop opera / firefox browsers set to English?

                        Tucker_P_Ezoic all are set to German

                        Desktop:
                        chrome => button without any text
                        opera => button with german text
                        firefox => button with german text

                          We've escalated this even further now to try and both recreate what you're seeing and to get more eyes on the behavior you've described. 🙂 We definitely appreciate your patience.

                            Our dev team is still trying to reproduce the issue. When you visit the site, is the privacy ('Datenschutz') text always missing on Desktop/Chrome and Mobile/all browsers or just some of the time?

                              Mohammad2306 yes ist still missing how described:

                              mobilePhone:
                              firefox => issue
                              chrome => issue
                              opera => issue

                              dekstop:
                              firefox => fine
                              chrome => issue (please look at new screenshot)
                              opera => fine

                                manolo Thanks let me pass this back to the team and see what they come back with.

                                  Are you able to open up the dev-tools for Chrome when you are able to recreate the missing text, and possibly send us a screenshot of any errors showing there?

                                  Our engineers have been trying to recreate over the last several days (many different engineers in different locations all using different VPNs and browserstacks) and are unable to recreate the experience you're having with the missing text display. That's not to say it's not occurring more widespread, but our inability to recreate might point to something locally occurring that we can't quite replicate.
